Sylvain elected as Chair of the Organization for Human Brain Mapping.

Sylvain has been elected new Council Member of the Organization for Human Brain Mapping (OHBM), acting as Chair-Elect (2023-24), Chair (2024-25) and Past-Chair (2025-26).

The purpose of OHBM is to advance the understanding of the anatomical and functional organization of the human brain, and to promote the medical and societal applications of brain imaging methods.

The Society runs a series of educational courses, several Chapters in different corners of the world, and a diversity of Special Interest Groups led by its members.

OHBM is the largest scholarly Society in the field ; its annual conference gathers 3,000 attendees from around the world. The next meeting of the organization will be June 23-27, 2024 in Seoul, Rep. of Korea.
